My Thoughts

“Don’t waste today by fearing tomorrow, for tomorrow will come whether you’re ready for it or not.”

Okay so to be honest I have no idea where to start this review. Draekora was absolutely amazing and exceeded all my expectations x100. The world building was written so well, there was so much character development and the writing itself is written so well it makes my soul sing.

“I’m not you’r friend. I never have been, and I most definitely never will be.”

I am going to start off by saying thank you so much to Lynette Noni and the Pantera Preess team for choosing me as one of The Chosen Ones and giving me an advance copy of this stunning book! The ending of Raelia left so many unanswered questions but I still had no idea what to really expect from the third instalment of the Medoran Chronicles. And let me tell you, it blew my mind! From the very first page I was addicted all over again and swept back into this magic realm.

Draekora follows Alex as she tries to harness her Meyarin abilities while also trying to figure out a way to save Jordan. Just as she starts her training, Alex comes across a Draekon and is swept away (literally) to a place and time she never thought she would see.

We got to see the back stories of all of the Meyarin’s and I loved all of the characters 10x more after it. I loved seeing the different sides to all of the characters as some of them are totally different back then and they really surprise you. I am lowkey in love with Niyx to be honest for reasons i shall not say because spoilers. We also got to learn more about the claiming and the history of Meyarians and how they came to be which was really interesting!

Let’s talk dragons! I was so excited to find out that this book had dragons in it because I haven’t really read any books with dragons in them before so it was a new experience for me. And let me tell you, I loved the way Lynette portrayed them! Draekons, the mythical race of dragons are such magical creatures and I loved reading about them.

I’m not really sure what else to say about this book because I find it so hard to talk about it without getting super excited and accidentally spilling spoilers. I definitely 100% recommend The Medoran Chronicles because it is such an amazing series that takes you on epic journeys and has unbreakable friendships and it is written so amazingly well! Draekora was my favourite book so far in the series. It will make you laugh and smile and cry and gasp in shock. What are you waiting for?? Pick this series up right now!

“For thousands of years, all I’ve done is wait.”

“People will do anything if they are desperate enough. They will follow anyone, support any cause.”

“I would do it again in a heartbeat, if you hadn’t already ripped mine to shreds with your betrayal.”
